The long-prepared generational change at AGON A/S is now a reality. Kasper Hedemann assumes the position of CEO in the company, while Kent Hedemann, founder of AGON, continues as Chairman of the Board and Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and steps down from the executive board.
This generational change has been carefully planned, and Kasper Hedemann has progressively taken over key functions within the company. Most recently, he has been responsible for the establishment of AGON UK and the construction of production facilities in Asia outside of China.
Kasper Hedemann takes over a company in top shape, as AGON A/S has just reported a record-breaking financial statement at the general assembly on April 25th. Jørn Limann, who has been on the board for several years, most recently as chairman, has chosen to retire and enjoy his leisure time after an impressive tenure.
